No doubt you've noticed the website has a new look and feel. That's because we've been running on an obsolete version of Joomla! (our website software) for about three years now and it finally became absolutely, positively time to upgrade if we were going to keep the site up. This article will, I hope, explain the main differences in the new layout.
- What happened to those links that used to be on the Home page?
They are now on a new, slide-out panel called the Sidebar. That way, when you want those links, you can show them and, when you don't, you can hide them.
To open the Sidebar, click the icon that looks like three parallel lines to the left of the CHIP logo at the top of the page. To close it, click the X in the upper right corner of the Sidebar.
- Where did the breadcrumbs go?
The breadcrumbs (you know, that list of pages that you visited to get to the one you're on now) has moved from being right under the main menu to just above the page footer. I don't know why (yet!). It just has.
