Ingredients:

  • 4 cups boiling water in large pan
  • 4 cups raw oatmeal
  • 1 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast
  • 7 oz. can corn, drained
  • 15 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 oz. can lentils, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup dehydrated or sun dried tomatoes

Preparation:

  1. Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl
  2. Add to boiling water and mix well
  3. Add beans and corn and mix well
  4. Scoop on to oiled cookie sheets and then flatten into patties
  5. Bake at 350° for 20 min. on each side.

Makes approximately 24 burgers
